It has been a while since my last blog since I had a continuous celebration for my birthday. Since I was a kid, our family always celebrates special occasions eating out mostly in buffet restaurants. And this year, the tradition continues. So, expect that for the next posts, it would be more of the eat all you can restaurants and so much more. First on the list: Food Club.
It was our first time to dine at the Food Club at Blue Bay Walk, Macapagal Ave. I did not expect that much since from the outside, it seems that there were only few food. But I was surprised by what this restaurant could offer and I am so excited to share it.

The Ambiance 5/5
Just like the other popular buffet restaurants in the city, the design of this restaurant was like that of the 5 star hotel with tables, couches and chandeliers present. Our dining there was even made more elegant since we went for dinner thus reflecting only the chandeliers light. What I liked best here compared to the others was that their buffet area was located at the corner while the seats were on the other side. Thus, it was not crowded to get food at the same time not too conscious on whether someone was looking on how much food you are getting.
The Food 4.5/5
The buffet table offers a variety of International dishes. Maybe I am biased, but I liked it since Hakaw, Garlic Butter Shrimp and Fried Crab were present, to name a few of my favorite all time dishes. Furthermore, their food was in good quality such that it was not just to fill in and just add up to the variety of food present but was tasteful. Brace yourself for the next pictures as these would definitely make you hungry!

And these were what went into my stomach :)
I really wanted to try more. My mind was saying Yes but my tummy was saying No. So I just had crepe for dessert, one of my favorites. I'm not a person with a sweet tooth, so this one's okay with me!
The Service 4/5
Since it was a buffet, I really did not expect a very special service from the restaurant. The plates were easily brushed out from the tables and the servers were very courteous in asking us first if we were done prior to getting our plates. Since I dined with Senior Citizen relatives, they would often ask the servers to get something from them like drinks and sauces and the servers were just okay with it, which was plus points for the restaurant. So why the minus 1 from the prefect grade? Probably because I did not like the way the employee handling the bill payment served us. He was such in a rush, was very formal in a way that we cannot casually talk to him and he did not even show a smile. Otherwise, it could have been a perfect service from them.
