Get Buffaloed at Buffalo's Wings n' Things

The first ever buffalo wings I tried was a home cooked one. It was one of my mom's special recipes where in she would cook the usual fried chicken wings and mix it with a sauce that is a mix of salty, spicy and sour. Because of that, it became a favorite of mine, not just for an appetizer but for a regular meal as well.

There are currently a lot of buffalo wings restaurant here in the Metro and I had the chance to try this one: Buffalo's Wings n' Things in Mall of Asia.

SM Mall of Asia branch

The Ambiance     4/5

The restaurant is well located as it is in the area of the Mall of Asia with the view of Manila Bay. Having dinner here on weekends would actually give a good glimpse of the fireworks display. There is this casual feel once we entered the restaurant. It is as if it was very welcoming and telling us to just sit because it's time to relax and enjoy the buffalo wings.
The interior design was good however there were some walls not well painted but I'm not quite sure if this was included in the overall effect of the restaurant.

The Food   4.5/5
From the restaurant's name itself, the restaurant offers buffalo wings in different sauces, but also includes other food that could easily blend with it. Here is a copy of their menu:

Buffalo Wings n Things MENU
And this is what we ordered:
Triple Sampler: Champion Buffalo Wings in 3 different Sauces Php 409  (3-5 pax)
New York's Finest
5/5
A mix of salty, spicy and sour
My personal favorite! :)
Basil n Garlic
4/5
A mix of sweet and sour garlicky flavor
The Rookie
4/5
Tastes like New York's Finest but less spicy

Add ons:

NY Dirty Rice         Php 39     4.5/5
Bleu cheese dip    Php 29     4.5/5

Fries  Php 29     5/5
It sounds weird though but mixing the bleu cheese dip with the dirty rice and eating it with the buffalo wings adds flavor and tastes fantastic. The fries had a seasoning of salt and pepper making it a good partner with the wings.

The Service     5/5
Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were welcomed well by our servers. Karen became our server during our dine in. At first, our order was 1 pound Champion Buffalo Wings since there were only two of us. However, we thought of filling ourselves up and decided to get the Triple Sampler to be able to taste as well the different sauces. Even if our decision was about 10 minutes since we ordered, Karen had no apprehensions in revising our orders which was plus points for the restaurant.
The food also arrived within the promised cooking time. When we were already feasting on the Rookie, we noted that it was not well cooked. We informed Karen about this and asked her to tell the cook to heat it for some more minutes. We were surprised that the whole basket of the Rookie was changed to a new one and yes another plus points for them because of that kind of service.
Furthermore, I liked the fact that the servers already gave us gloves and tissue without even asking them. It was a great initiative coming from them especially that buffalo wings are best eaten with hands, right?
Here is my companion using the gloves and getting a piece of the Basil n Garlic!

Yum Yum!

 The Budget     4/5
Approximately Php 253  each for 2 hungry individuals, but our order could actually fill up 3 people, which would be approximately Php 169 each.

Verdict     4.5/5

And Yes! I just got buffaloed!

Always choose to be benign! :)
